Volunteer Teams Help Sowing Seeds of Hope Complete Accessibility Repairs for Local Homes

Volunteer groups from several churches partnered with Sowing Seeds of Hope during the spring to complete home repair projects for residents in Perry County.

A team from Church on the Drive in Orlando, Florida traveled to the area to build a wheelchair ramp for a resident in the Newbern community. Volunteers from Trinity Baptist Church in Madison also worked on repair projects at two homes in Uniontown.

Accessibility improvements such as ramps and porch repairs help seniors and individuals with mobility challenges remain safely in their homes. These projects are made possible through the efforts of visiting volunteer teams who donate their time and skills to serve the community.

Volunteer partnerships remain an important part of the mission of Sowing Seeds of Hope, allowing the organization to address practical needs while strengthening relationships across communities.
