The Sowing Seeds of Hope Social and Spiritual Task Force hosted an Easter Sunrise Service on April 5, 2026, in Marion, Alabama, bringing community members together to celebrate Easter morning.
Originally planned for the Perry County Courthouse Square, the service was moved to the Sowing Seeds of Hope facility due to weather. The service began at 7:00 a.m. and featured music from the Perry County Community Choir and a message from Rev. Anthony Trimble, President of the Social and Spiritual Task Force and Pastor of the First Baptist Church of Uniontown, creating a shared space for worship and reflection.
The Social and Spiritual Task Force supports the spiritual well-being of Perry County residents as part of Sowing Seeds of Hope’s broader mission, which also includes health, education, and community outreach initiatives. Events like the Easter Sunrise Service provide opportunities for connection, reflection, and shared experience within the community.
