Sowing Seeds of Hope hosted a job fair on the Perry County Courthouse Square on July 28 to help connect local residents with employment opportunities.
Representatives from the Alabama Department of Corrections and Surge Staffing attended the event and met with individuals interested in learning more about available employment positions. Participants were able to ask questions, receive information about job requirements, and explore potential career paths.
The job fair was one of Sowing Seeds of Hope’s recent workforce development initiatives, which are supported through partnerships with the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers and the Alabama Department of Human Resources. These programs provide job training, job search assistance, and ongoing support for individuals working to build stable careers.
Sowing Seeds of Hope continues to encourage community members to participate in workforce development programs, as training and employment are a vital milestone on the path to self-sufficiency.
