Sowing Seeds of Hope partnered with several community organizations to host a back-to-school supply giveaway on August 6 in Perry County. The event provided backpacks and school supplies to 254 children as they prepared for the upcoming school year.

The giveaway was made possible through the support of the Perry County Commission, the Perry County Civic League, Arrowhead Landfill, and TekPak, Inc. Volunteers and staff members worked together to distribute supplies to families throughout the morning.

Providing school supplies helps ensure that students begin the academic year with the tools they need to succeed in the classroom. Events like this also give families an opportunity to connect with community resources and support networks.
