Sowing Seeds of Hope hosted the Walk for Kidney Health on March 21, 2026, on the Georgia Walker Memorial Walking Trail in Marion, bringing together community members to raise awareness about kidney disease and promote healthy lifestyles.
Registration began at 8:00 a.m., followed by a 9:00 a.m. walk that encouraged participants of all ages to stay active while learning more about kidney health.
The walk was supported by the Alabama Network of Family Resource Centers, the Southwest Alabama Health Improvement Initiative (SWAHII), and the Perry County Commission.
