Sowing Seeds of Hope partnered with the Alfred G. Adams Optimist Club of Perry County, the Perry County Children’s Policy Council, and the Perry County Healthcare Coordinator to host an Autism Awareness Walk and Community Fun Day on April 13.

The event brought together 108 participants from across the community. Volunteers from First Presbyterian Church of Tuscaloosa’s college ministry and students from Samford University’s McWhorter School of Pharmacy helped with activities during the day.

Events like this create opportunities for community members to learn more about autism while supporting children and families.
