Sowing Seeds of Hope hosted its annual Thanksgiving outreach project on November 17, providing grocery bags to 340 senior citizens across Perry County.

Local churches referred seniors who could benefit from additional food assistance during the holiday season. Volunteers and staff worked together to pack and distribute grocery bags filled with essential items.

Members of Mountain Brook Baptist Church and First Presbyterian Church of Tuscaloosa once again supported the project by donating food and helping prepare the bags for distribution.

This annual effort reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to ensuring that older residents in Perry County feel remembered and supported during the holiday season.
