Sowing Seeds of Hope recently partnered with local officials to provide a three-day training program for individuals incarcerated at the Perry County Jail. The program focused on parenting principles and communication skills designed to help participants strengthen relationships with their families.
During the training sessions, participants discussed strategies for positive parenting, conflict resolution, and effective communication. Staff members also donated new books to the jail library to help expand educational resources available to residents.
Programs like this reflect the organization’s broader commitment to supporting individuals and families throughout Perry County. By providing opportunities for learning and personal development, Sowing Seeds of Hope seeks to encourage positive outcomes both during incarceration and after individuals return to the community.
