Sowing Seeds of Hope welcomed 168 volunteers from nine different groups during the spring and summer months of 2023, supporting a wide range of projects throughout Perry County.

Volunteer teams completed eleven porch and ramp construction projects, two porch coverings, and several stair and rail repairs. They also assisted with children’s programming and helped distribute fans and bottled water to seniors during the summer heat.

Local churches, including Eagle Grove Baptist Church and First Baptist Uniontown, provided lodging for visiting volunteer groups.
