Sowing Seeds of Hope received new funding to support programs serving children and families in Perry County.

Representatives from the Alabama Coalition for Healthy Mothers and Children visited Marion on July 30 and presented a $5,000 donation to support projects addressing food insecurity among children.

The organization was also notified of a renewed $45,000 grant from the Children’s Trust Fund of Alabama to support parenting classes and social-emotional learning programs for kids.

Funding partnerships like these help expand programs that support the health and well-being of children across Perry County.
