On October 31, 2025, Sowing Seeds of Hope partnered with the Perry County Emergency Management Agency and the Perry County Extension Office to participate in Be Ready Day at the Donald Avery Perry County Courthouse Annex.

Sowing Seeds of Hope hosted a table focused on distributing information about bullying prevention to students in grades 4 through 6. Students from Francis Marion School, R.C. Hatch School, and Breakthrough Charter School attended the event.

By participating in Be Ready Day, Sowing Seeds of Hope contributed to broader community preparedness efforts while addressing the social and emotional well-being of local students. Providing accessible, age-appropriate resources helps equip young people with tools to navigate challenges and foster safer living and learning environments across Perry County.
