The Social and Spiritual Task Force of Sowing Seeds of Hope hosted a community conversation dinner at Lottie’s Restaurant in Marion, Alabama, in partnership with the Alabama Coalition for Healthy Mothers and Children on June 13, 2025.

Participants gathered to discuss how their churches are currently reaching out to the community and to share ideas about what they would like to see happen in the future. The evening created space for collaboration, relationship-building, and thoughtful dialogue among faith leaders and community partners.

The Alabama Coalition for Healthy Mothers and Children also made a donation to support summer events for children in Perry County, further strengthening Sowing Seeds of Hope’s community-centered programming.

The Social and Spiritual Task Force continues to focus on building partnerships between churches and the community at large to support educational, social, and outreach initiatives throughout Perry County.
