Sowing Seeds of Hope is excited to welcome Lauren Adkinson as our 2021 summer intern. Lauren just completed her junior year at Judson College, where she studied Psychology and Music. A native of Dothan, Lauren first became involved with Sowing Seeds of Hope through Judson’s Faith-Based Service and Learning Program. “I have really fallen in love with the Sowing Seeds of Hope staff and the community as I’ve served over the past three years,” she said. “I am looking forward to the opportunity to invest more deeply this summer.” Due to Judson’s recently announced closure, Lauren plans to continue her studies at the University of Montevallo in the fall.

This year’s summer internship opportunity has been funded through the generosity of our friends at Alabama CBF. Lauren will have the opportunity to work with members of Alabama CBF churches during Seed Camp, our annual partnership project which provides educational opportunities for local children.
